About Investment Attraction Unit

Equipped with a significant incentives budget of over $520 million, the Investment Attraction team actively forges strategic collaborations with the private sector to deliver investment-ready projects. The team aims to bring about long-term benefits for investors and the state of Queensland. With their expertise and resources, they make it as easy as possible for companies to move forward with investment decisions that contribute to the economic prosperity of Queensland.

Sitting within the Industry, Investment and Commercial Group (IIC) unit the Investment team is dedicated to driving high-value investments in Queensland by prioritising a strong commercial approach. The primary objective is to attract and facilitate private sector investments that contribute to
strengthening and diversifying the Queensland economy. With a focus on fostering partnerships and creating an attractive investment climate, the Investment team plays a crucial role in promoting economic growth and expanding business opportunities within the state.
