Contractors

  • What day is payday?

    Frequency of pay and any invoicing requirements (if you are an independent contractor) will depend on your engagement contract and any assignment schedule emailed to you. 


    Davidson processes pay on Wednesdays. Depending on your nominated banking institution, you can expect your pay to be deposited between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.

  • How do I log my timesheet?

    Log in and submit your timesheet through Davidson’s Astute Portal https://davidson.astutepayroll.com/. Select the relevant timesheet on the dashboard and enter your hours worked.


    However, you may be informed by your consultant if you are required to use a different timesheet system according to your host’s requirements. 

  • When does my timesheet need to be submitted?

    Generally, timesheets are to be submitted by COB each Friday to allow enough time for your timesheet to be approved. If you intend to work the weekend, please submit your timesheet immediately after your last shift.

  • Who do I speak to if I need to take leave or a day off?

    Please get in touch with your consultant.

  • How much notice do I need to give to end my assignment?

    This will depend on the assignment schedule emailed to you. Please get in touch with your consultant for more information.

  • What super fund does Davidson use?

    Our default superannuation fund is Care Super. However, you are also welcome to nominate your own.

    As a casual employee, should the client no longer require your services 1 hours’ notice is all that is required.
