The Opportunity
Our government client
is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Developer
to join their team on an initial 6-month contract
with scope for extension. Based in Brisbane CBD, this role offers a hybrid work model(3 days in office, 2 from home).
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle-based applications, ensuring seamless system integration and functionality enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Role
As a
Senior Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing software development solutions for existing and new application functionality.
- Executing system integration activities, including preparation of test scripts and troubleshooting.
- Investigating and resolving production issues as required.
- Escalating risks and technical issues to the lead developer.
- Preparing and maintaining technical and functional documentation.
- Ensuring system performance and security best practices are upheld.
About You
In order to be a successful applicant, you will:
- Have 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL and Oracle Databases.
- Have 2+ years of experience in Oracle Designer, Fusion Middleware, Forms, and Reports.
- Have experience with UNIX / Shell scripting(minimum 2 years).
You will also have:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
