We’re seeking a dynamic Infrastructure IT Lead to take charge of our client’s IT landscape. This is a high-impact role where you’ll design, implement, and manage their infrastructure, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable IT operations that power their business forward. As a strategic leader, you’ll work closely with the ELT to shape the future of IT within their organization, driving operational excellence, cybersecurity resilience, and digital transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Oversee system uptime, proactively minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Drive disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure business resilience.
- Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user computing solutions.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability to meet evolving business needs.
- Implement proactive monitoring solutions for optimal system performance.
- Champion user experience improvements through technology standardization and optimization.
Cybersecurity & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with the CIO to implement robust cybersecurity measures that protect critical assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards while managing risk assessments.
- Lead the development, testing, and execution of disaster recovery & business continuity plans.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors & service providers.
- Oversee contract negotiations & service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure top-tier service.
- Support IT budgeting efforts to align investments with financial and business goals.
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven success in delivering ICT systems & solutions in complex, large-scale environments.
- Demonstrated team leadership & management experience.
- Strong background in developing & implementing ICT strategies.
- Expertise in networks, servers, virtualization, cloud and enterprise-grade storage solutions.
- 5 years of IT infrastructure & operations experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
- A service-first mindset with strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
