The Opportunity

Our client within the utilities sector is seeking a talented IT Architect to join their Digital and Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape digital solutions within the Customer and Field domain, driving innovation, architectural excellence, and alignment with strategic business priorities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the scalability, reliability and security of enterprise systems, supporting the client’s goal of delivering essential services efficiently and sustainably.



The Role

As an IT Architect you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining enterprise IT architecture for the Customer and Field domain
  • Translating strategic priorities into long-term IT goals and architectural roadmaps
  • Promoting architectural standards and best practices across domains
  • Identifying and mitigating architecture-related risks, including cyber and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborating with business and IT teams to develop scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Leading opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in digital architecture

About you

In order to be a successful applicant you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Have extensive experience in IT architecture, with hands-on design and implementation
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Be experienced in customer systems and/or field mobility solutions
  • Possess the ability to align enterprise architecture with business strategy
