About the Company
Our client is a boutique energy provider, with an established clientele, and operations spanning almost 20 years. As the Customer Assistance Officer you will work in a team of four to obtain payment for outstanding account balances and to assist customers with payment options and payment plans.
This is a soft debt recovery role where you will respectfully assist the customer to meet their obligations.
About the Role
The Customer Assistance Officer will require an empathetic, structured and methodical approach, with excellent customer service skills.
- Contact customers via phone and email to remind them of outstanding debts
- Process payments
- Identify rebates and discounts that may be applicable to assist the customer
- Set-up payment plans
- Process hardship applications
About You
To be successful you will need clear and articulate English written and verbal communication, and have intermediate skills in MS Excel.
The environment is casual; you won't need a suit and tie, but a proactive attitude is essential. Please only apply if you can be reliable and punctual to work a bi-monthly rotating roster of a 7.6 hour shift between the hours of 7.00am and 5.40pm daily.
Private transport is the best way to reach this office location and there is parking on-street and on-site.
