Davidson are partnering with our well known, Melbourne client to offer an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Utilities and Regulated Energy markets. 6-month day rate contract, 3 days in-office CBD.

The Role
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will lead high-level business case development and stakeholder engagement. This role is business-facing, working closely with senior stakeholders to scope timeframes, indicative costs, and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead business case development and strategic planning for upcoming projects
- Manage senior business stakeholders (GM level) to align on priorities and outcomes
- Oversee budgeting and financial accountability for projects over $5M
- Work closely with PMO and corporate teams to support portfolio planning
- Drive governance, risk, and compliance best practices across initiatives
About You
You are a strategic and business-savvy Senior Project Manager with a consulting mindset. Your expertise in utilities, energy markets (DERMS / ETRM), and SaaS ERP systems, along with strong stakeholder management skills, will ensure success in this role.
To be successful, you will also have:
- Strong background in utilities, energy markets (DER/DERMS/ETRM), and ERP systems (HR, Finance, and Procurement).
- Experience working with batteries and renewable energy
- Experience developing high-level business cases and scoping timeframes/costs
- Proven stakeholder engagement at GM and executive levels
- Project management qualifications PRINCE2 & SAFe (highly desirable)
