The Role
- Provide high quality workplace relations advice, assistance and guidance at all levels across the organisation
- Manage and respond to a vast array of employee and industrial relations matters, including handling of disputes and grievances that arise across the workplace
- Work closely with colleagues on key projects including enterprise bargaining, policy reviews, Fair Work Commission matters and dispute resolution.
- Manage day-to-day employee and industrial relations issues.
- This position will play a key role to ensure the organisation complies with legal obligations and mitigates both IR/ER risks.
- Ability to monitor and analyse industrial/ workplace issues, trends, case law and legislative changes
Qualification
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law and training in a related field
- Demonstrated experience in industrial relations in a complex environment.
- Highly developed oral and written communication and negotiation skills, and ability to draft in a clear and comprehensive style.
- Strong technical experience providing high level advice across the employment/industrial relations space.
- Demonstrated experience managing and engaging with individual employees, their representatives and organisational stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities
