About the Role

As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will take on a key role managing the financial operations of corporate and property entities. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee the preparation of financial reports, manage budgets and cashflows, and ensure compliance with tax and accounting standards. Your expertise will directly support the organisation’s operational success and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts for corporate and property operations.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage property asset accounting, including revaluations, acquisitions, disposals, and capital improvements.
  • Oversee P&L, cashflow budgets, and corporate recharge processes.
  • Assist in tax compliance, including BAS and FBT lodgements, and support audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Provide financial training and support to team members.

About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with a passion for improving financial operations and supporting organisational growth.

You bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA accreditation
  • Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and cloud-based financial systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes effectively.
  • Exposure to trust structures and Division 7A management
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry (Desired)
