Salesforce Practice Lead / Team Lead
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: SE Suburbs
Hybrid working: 2 days in the office
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salesforce Practice Lead
to provide technical leadership and drive the Salesforce development practice within a leading organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the execution, development, and strategic direction of Salesforce applications, ensuring best practices in development, deployment, and team collaboration. The position will also champion a strong developer community to maintain high standards in Salesforce solutions and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Salesforce developers in designing and delivering new software programs, services, and applications.
- Oversee and support critical CRM systems and dependent applications, including troubleshooting and incident management.
- Manage and mentor Salesforce technical resources, including resource planning, performance management, and professional development.
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure seamless execution of Salesforce-related projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with the Architecture team to design innovative Salesforce solutions.
- Stay updated on Salesforce feature releases and vulnerabilities, making recommendations for enhancements and roadmap initiatives.
- Ensure all developed solutions align with business requirements, security standards, and DevOps best practices.
- Maintain coding conventions, API standards, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Guide the end-to-end delivery of business applications and act as a technical lead where necessary.
- Conduct performance testing and debugging of Salesforce applications.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years of experience managing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL, APIs, DevOps, and Salesforce DX.
- Experience with Git-based source control and deployment management.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Ability to work within Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
