Davidson Technology have teamed up with fantastic Brisbane region, local council to help them find a Program Technical Lead for the next 12 months (With potential for extensions)
This opportunity will play a vital role in one of this organisations major ICT programs of work. The program involves major investment into new HR/HCM/Payroll, Customer and Assets and Works Management Solutions.
About the Role
- Provide high level, accurate and comprehensive service and advice to Program, Project, and senior management regarding ensuring technical solutions developed and deployed align with business expectation and sound practice.
- Leadership on behalf of Council in working with Vendors to ensure appropriate solution and integration architecture standards and principles are maintained.
- This should include Ensuring appropriate practice and outcome from design, through development, testing, training, change management support, commissioning and transition to operation, ensuring appropriate review, endorsement, and documentation throughout.
- Lead Council thinking and evaluation around determination of appropriate approach and design for sustainable and scalable integrations and continued oversight to ensure delivery aligns with Council requirements.
- Technical oversight, coordination, and supervision of solution delivery by internal resources, service providers and suppliers.
- Acting as the Council Lead and single point of contact and coordination for the Solution and Integration technical designs and implementation of any end-to-end technical solutions.
- Lead technical issue ownership and resolution.
- Working with Vendors to ensure that key technical deliverables are provided in a timely manner and to a suitable standard, including System build and recovery documentation, support documentation, end user documentation, etc.
About You
For this role, the technical lead needs diversity of skills to support effective design and implementation led by the vendor.
We are looking for someone with:
- A good understanding of solution architecture and management of integration design and development.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor communication skills; with the ability to lead discussions appropriately with the vendor/s through the design, data migration, testing, etc processes.
- Extensive experience in developing and deploying integrations into a complex technical environment to a high standard, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory expectations such as privacy and ongoing system reliability and resilience.
- Extensive experience within an environment of multiple technology stacks.
- Professional qualifications relevant to the role would be highly regarded.
- Extensive experience in a technical leadership role.
