We are seeking an experienced and curious Product Owner to lead AI-driven initiatives with one of the world's largest mining corporations. This project explores how Generative AI can enhance operational efficiency, optimise resource planning, and improve decision-making at scale
About the Role
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with stakeholders, AI engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to shape AI-driven solutions. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and AI capabilities, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful.
This role is perfect for someone who is excited about AI and emerging technologies, eager to work on real-world AI applications, and keen to learn and grow in the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Communicate Product Vision – Develop a clear roadmap for AI-driven solutions, ensuring business alignment.
- Manage Agile Delivery – Oversee product backlog, ensuring AI features are well-defined, prioritised, and actionable.
- Track AI Impact & Drive Adoption – Define key success metrics, monitor AI performance, and guide continuous improvements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination – Partner with business teams, engineering, data science, and operations teams to implement AI solutions effectively.
About You
- Significant experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a digital or technology environment.
- Proven experience delivering AI, data, or automation-driven products from concept to execution.
- Strong Agile expertise(Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI product lifecycles (no deep technical skills required).
- Curious About AI & Emerging Technology – You’re eager to explore how Generative AI can transform industries.
- Business & Technology Bridge-Builder – You can translate business needs into actionable AI product strategies.
- Problem Solver & AI Advocate – You can navigate AI adoption challenges and drive strategic decisions.
