About the Role
As a Planning and Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing liquor planning requirements across renewal projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop project plans, manage consultants, and oversee store openings to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Translating customer briefs into project plans to meet budget and site-specific requirements.

Managing external consultants and internal teams to deliver liquor store designs that align with specifications and standards.

Partnering with Project Managers to ensure stores open on time, within budget, and to agreed plans.

Coordinating and influencing key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure project success.
-
Overseeing financial metrics to support informed decision-making.
-
Providing architectural and technical advice on project planning and execution.
-
Maintaining store records for the entire liquor fleet and providing relevant business updates.
About You
Work Experience:

Proven experience managing project timelines and meeting critical deadlines.

Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally.

Background in construction, architecture, or retail store planning.

Onsite experience in ensuring project delivery to design specifications.

Knowledge of construction details, budgeting, and costing.
-
Proficiency in CAD, REVIT, and strong documentation skills.

Retail planning experience with design, commercial, or financial understanding.
-
Experience working with architects, engineers, and signage contractors.
-
Ability to interpret demographic and socio-economic factors to influence store design.
Commercial Skills & Qualifications:

A degree in Architecture, Building Science, or a related field is highly regarded.

Understanding of financial metrics related to project planning.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Ability to manage external consultants and internal stakeholders effectively.

Technical proficiency in CAD, MS Office, and Adobe Illustrator (REVIT knowledge preferred).

Strong documentation and results-driven approach.
