OT Architect
Job Purpose
The OT Domain Architect designs and oversees the implementation of operational technology systems to support core business operations. This role is pivotal in aligning OT systems with strategic goals, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and innovation within the operational technology landscape. (Our client is open to offering an initial 12 month contract or on a permanent position. For the initial 12 month contract there is a strong scope to extend or be brought on permanently.)
Key Qualifications
- Experience:
- Multiple years as a solution or domain architect, ideally in energy distribution or similar industries.
- Proven success in delivering complex OT projects, IT/OT convergence strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Knowledge & Expertise:
- Energy sector dynamics, including SCADA, ADMS, OMS/DMS, and DERMS systems.
- Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, cloud technologies, integration, and security standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Role Focus Areas
- OT Architecture & Strategy (70%)
- Develop and maintain OT architecture aligning with business goals and industry standards.
- Define technology roadmaps and ensure seamless integration with IT systems.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and evaluate OT technologies and vendors.
- Solution Advice (15%)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to create enterprise-level OT designs that maximize digital investments.
- Governance (10%)
- Support governance processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Customer Focus (5%)
- Prioritize customer outcomes in architectural designs and principles.
