Davidson Technology are working with a large Federal Government Authority to secure multiple experienced people to fill the following roles: System Administrator, System Engineer, Software Developer, Project Officer and Project Manager at all levels from junior to senior across Australia.
About the Roles
System Administrators
are responsible for performing routine hardware and software installations in line with agency and organisational policies.
System Engineers
are responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and sustainable systems.
Software Developers
you’ll be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and documenting software solutions that meet business requirements.
Senior Software Developer
are responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing software capabilities to ensure application availability, security, and quality through rigorous testing and reviews.
Project / Project Support Officers
are responsible for providing administrative and coordination support for projects and programs, including managing documentation, planning, and scheduling activities.
Project Managers
are responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary project team, overseeing project activities, strategic planning, governance, and resource management.
About You
- As a System Administrator you’ll possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field and expertise in operating systems, networking, database management, and security protocols.
- As a Systems Engineer you’ll possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field and specialise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- As a proficient Software Developer, you’ll demonstrate experience in development languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, Java Messaging Service, JavaScript/TypeScript, J2EE, RESTful web services, Django, and Ruby
- As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience in Java development, with additional proficiency in Python and other scripting languages.
- As a Project Officer you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project support or a similar role, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
- As a Project Manager you’ll possess over 4 years of experience, holding certification in project management and proficient in applying methodologies such as PRINCE2.
Applicants MUST
be Australian Citizens and hold an active security clearance NV1 or above
The Benefits
You will be offered an excellent daily rate on initial contracts ranging from 12 – 15-months with the option for further extensions and will be based in one of the agencies offices across Australia.
