The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Information Resources Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge information, records, and controlled document systems. In this key leadership role, you will ensure compliance with legislative and business requirements while fostering collaboration across teams. The Role

As the Information Resources Manager you will lead, coach, and develop the Information Resources team of 6 (based in multiple locations). Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Executing and maintaining the records management strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Designing and implementing modern information, records, and document management practices using contemporary tools.
  • Developing a vision for streamlined collaboration, leveraging modern productivity technologies.
  • Managing supplier relationships and evaluate system performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Delivering communication campaigns and training programs to embed best practices in records management.



About You

The ideal applicant will have qualifications in information or records management, or equivalent substantial experience in the IT/information management sector. You will also have:

  • Extensive leadership experience in a medium to large organization.
  • Expertise in modern information management, including records, knowledge, and document control in regulated environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and legislation, such as the Public Records Act 2023 and ISO 15489.
  • Demonstrated experience with contemporary information management systems and tools.
