Our Energy sector client has a requirement for an IT Support Officer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The purpose of the role is to assist with the roll-out of new equipment across the organisation, as well as providing support and troubleshooting any issues.
The Role
Based at the Stanwell Power Station (25 minutes' drive from Rockhampton), you will be part of a team responsible for modernising the End-User experience by upgrading and replacing workstations, laptops, VC's and audio facilaties. You will also work with users to provide support and guidance on how to use the new pieces of technology, as well as utilising your troubleshooting and configuration skillset.
About You
It is essential that all applicants have the following skills, experience and attributes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with all levels of the business
- Proven customer service skills, delivered in a calm and polite manner
- Valid Australian drivers licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an IT support position
- IT degree of Cert IV in IT (preferred)
- ITIL certified (preferred)
