Davidson Technology are working with a leading Federal Government Agency to secure an EL1 Manager Planning and Delivery Office (PDO) leads a team of Cyber focused Project Managers to deliver key outcomes for the Cyber Security Branch. The position is responsible for coordinating Cyber Security activities across Agency projects, product releases, and BAU functions ensuring security process is followed, resourcing is efficiently allocated, and Cyber is collaborating effectively with rest of Agency.




About the Role

As the Manager, Planning and Delivery Office, you’ll play a key leadership role within the Cyber Security Branch, working closely with the CISO and Cyber Directors to drive strategic initiatives, oversee budgets, procurement activities, and manage the Cyber Security Strategy's development and execution. You’ll lead the Planning and Delivery Office (PDO) team, ensuring the successful delivery of the Cyber Security Roadmap, branch projects, and engagements within scope, time, and budget. Responsibilities include resource planning, financial forecasting, vendor and contract management, and implementing Agile ways of working across the branch. You’ll be accountable for stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. This role also provides expert advice to governance committees, supports recruitment and workforce planning, and builds team capability through coaching and mentorship, ensuring high performance in a dynamic and evolving cyber security landscape.




About You

We are seeking a Manager, Planning and Delivery office with a strong understanding of Australian Government security standards, including the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Ideal candidates will possess tertiary qualifications in ICT management or demonstrate equivalence through extensive professional experience and ICT certifications.




This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (with potential for higher clearance if required) and a national police check. You will be offered an excellent salary package consisting of base salary and 15.4% Super including the ability to work remotely.
