We are working with a well established engineering business looking for an experienced drafter to join their team in a full-time, permanent capacity.
Your clients would include businesses in the mining, concrete batching and quarrying industries, and experience in these fields and their associated equipment is required.
Based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, the role is Monday to Friday with additional hours on offer.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills to enable effective interactions with internal teams and external customers
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Autodesk’s Inventor (3D)
- Proven drafting experience in material handling equipment from concept design to workshop detail drawings
- The ability to work well with others and also be capable of working autonomously
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian standards required for the equipment being produced
- The ability to site measure
