The Opportunity
Our client within the government-owned utilities sector is seeking a Document Control Analyst
to support document management processes across corporate and major projects. This role ensures compliance with quality assurance and legislative requirements while driving efficiency and best practices.
The Role
As a Document Control Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements for document management. Your other responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in training and supporting document management systems across corporate and major projects.
- Providing subject matter expertise in defining and validating business requirements for solution design.
- Developing business work instructions and best practices to enhance document control processes.
- Collaborating with business functions and project teams to manage dependencies and ensure project success.
- Supporting testing and piloting of solutions to address urgent challenges and enhance operations.
About You
In order to be a successful applicant, you will have extensive experience in project document control, including document, review, and correspondence management. You will also:
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in business process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Have experience working on government or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Be proficient in project information management systems (e.g., TeamBinder, Opentext, Aconex).
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understand records management, archiving, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
