Davidson Technology are on the lookout for an established Data Scientist to join a progressive Advanced Analytics Practice, working with some of the best tools and technology in the game!
This initial 6-month contract will join a pivotal project for this organisation.
Overview:
Technical Expertise:
- Promote the use of Advanced Analytics by translating complex mathematical techniques into consumable and commercial concepts.
- Research new Advanced Analytics opportunities in areas of prediction, regression, machine learning, text mining, optimisation etc to identify new opportunities for future solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by cultivating relationships with stakeholders and across various Leadership teams to improve their understanding and knowledge of data science techniques.
Delivery
- Deliver a seamless and proactive service to stakeholders articulating customer opportunity, commercial benefit, analytical findings and data recommendations. Showcase, benchmark and quantify the value and outcomes of analytics-based decision making.
- Participate in the delivery of projects and techniques in line with best practice
Team and Strategy
- Contribute to the direction and implementation of the data and analytics strategy and roadmap within the team
About You (The skills and experience we love)
- Analytics professional with a proven track record in advanced analytics / data science /measurement science and/or econometrics
- Track record in designing and delivering AI solutions
- Key analytical techniques, e.g. regression, clustering, decision trees, machine learning, optimisation etc.
- Analytical applications -R, Python, PowerBI, SQL, Hive, Spark, Excel
- Productivity applications - Git, Jira, Confluence
