About the Role

In this dynamic and customer-focused role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service across various contact channels. You will handle customer enquiries, service requests, and transactions with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring a positive customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for customer service and support.
  • Promoting council programs and self-service options.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point as required.

About You

You are a customer service professional with a passion for delivering quality outcomes. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and excel at building relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer contact or service environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex enquiries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with business management systems.
  • A commitment to safety, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Desirable: Experience in records management, quality assessment, coaching, or local government administration.
