About the Role
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial and contractual management of our construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, you'll be responsible for contract administration, cost forecasting, tendering, project reporting, and quality control. This is a site-based role with plenty of support from senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with financial and contractual reviews
- Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Conduct site visits and attend Project Control Group meetings
- Manage project budgets, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting
- Handle progress claims, RFIs, subcontractor recommendations, and audits
- Oversee project quality and safety compliance
- Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations
- Contribute to project scheduling, risk assessment, and cost control
- Maintain accurate documentation and internal project records
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Law, or a related field
- Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of contract law, financial forecasting, and project controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and the ability to work under deadlines
- Passionate about teamwork, continuous improvement, and delivering quality projects
