About the Company

Davidson is working with a state government department who are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Advisor/Maintenance Planner. The team deliver Infrastructure based functions and advice to approx. 180 sites.

About the Role

You will be planning site visits to discuss maintenance plans for current and future years based on the Asset Life Cycle Assessments and on-ground visual inspections. You will be responsible for interrogation of ALCA data, management of maintenance budgets and discussions with IA’s for targeted works.

Liaising with business partners to undertake potential works and managing variations and issues that arise from those works. Providing advice to Principal’s and Business Mangers on prioritisation of maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities may include;

  • Provide client focused facilities services and advice to staff in schools, regional centres and other educational centres as well as the wider community.
  • Provide high level advice, information and support services to clients across a broad range of facilities planning, investment and asset management issues.
  • Coordinate with other regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and external service providers in the provision of a broad range of facilities services.
  • Collaborate with staff across regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and other agencies to provide a comprehensive field-based facility support service to clients.
  • Prepare ministerial responses, reports and briefing materials.
  • Adopt and use business practices and processes in accordance with division standards and direction.

About you

  • Must have an understanding of the building/built asset maintenance environment.
  • Has experience in facilities planning, asset management, or infrastructure operations.
  • Demonstrated have experience within a similar role.
  • Have strong communication skills because you will be liaising with a number of stakeholders.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s Licence (C CLASS).
  • A Blue Card is required
  • If, you are successful for this role you will be required to undertake Criminal History Check.

The Benefits

  • $76.50 per hour + Super (Agency Contractor – PAYG)
  • Contract up to June 2025
  • Maryborough Location
