Iberdrola is now recruiting for a Senior Manager – Safety and Wellbeing to be based from their Sydney office.

About the Role
This role is to provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of safety systems to support compliance with WHS legislation for Iberdrola Australia and to set the tone for a safety and wellbeing culture.
Specifically, this position will be required to:
- Maintain Corporate Risk registers for Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
- Manage the Corporate WHS management system (WHSMS) for Iberdrola Australia.
- Maintain the safety programs and data base.
- Collaborate with the O&M and Projects Safety Managers to ensure the operational safety systems comply with the Iberdrola Australia WHSMS.
- Engage with the Global Safety & Wellbeing Corporate function to align the global and local strategy, reporting and initiatives.
- Lead the certification process to achieve ISO Accreditation for 45001 and 45003.
- Coordinate and prepare all local and global reporting activities.
About You
To be considered for this unique career opportunity, it is expected you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in occupational health, safety, well being, or occupational hygiene
- Proven experience in the establishment and roll out of health and safety management systems within large, complex organisations (renewables would be ideal)
- Exceptional relationship management skills.
- Proven experience with leading ISO 45001 certification
- Proven experience with establishment and management of psychosocial risk registers and action plans
