Mulesoft Developer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mulesoft Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team at one of Davidson's valued clients. You will play a key role in setting up a new cloud environment and will collaborate closely with the Mulesoft Architect and Mulesoft Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of integration solutions.
This position offers a unique chance to take ownership of critical integration projects and build expertise in a cutting-edge cloud environment. You will also have the opportunity to step into a leadership role as the team grows and evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Environment Setup: Lead the setup and deployment of a new cloud-based Mulesoft environment.
- Integration Design & Development: Work alongside the Mulesoft Architect to design and implement integration solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Mulesoft Engineer to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure integrations.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Ensure the ongoing performance and scalability of the Mulesoft platform by identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Leadership Development: Mentor junior engineers and assist in growing the team, with future opportunities to step into a technical leadership position.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and tooling related to Mulesoft development.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with Mulesoft and integration architecture.
- Cloud environment setup experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity.
- Experience working with API management, ESB, microservices, and cloud integration.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to optimize and scale systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and assist in shaping the future of the integration team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) or MuleSoft Certified Architect (MCA) are a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
